Agatha Pereira

Meet Agatha, a seasoned art educator and lifelong artist whose journey with creativity began in early childhood. Her deep passion for the arts and artistic processes has been a constant thread throughout her life, shaping both her personal expression and professional path.

From a young age, Agatha was drawn not only to creating art, but also to sharing it—teaching has always been a natural extension of her love for the creative process. She believes deeply in the uniqueness of each individual's artistic voice, and her approach to teaching honors that belief. While guiding students through techniques such as color theory, painting methods, and the use of natural materials, she respects each person's rhythm and style. For Agatha, the most meaningful part of art is not the final product, but the journey—every step, choice, and discovery along the way.

Agatha has been teaching art wherever life has taken her—across Brazil, Mexico, the Netherlands, and now the United States. These diverse cultural experiences have shaped a rich, global perspective that permeates her practice, from the colors and techniques she uses to the creative processes she shares. Fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, Agatha brings openness, depth, and a strong sense of cultural awareness to her work—inviting others to engage with art in meaningful and personal ways.

In response to the pandemic, she initiated the My Dreams Project, a reflective and collaborative art initiative that culminated in a public mural along the Atlanta BeltLine—showcasing her ability to translate personal and collective experiences into compelling visual narratives.

Beyond the classroom, Agatha is also an accomplished illustrator, infusing her work with emotion, imagination, and narrative depth. Her lifelong dedication to the arts continues to inspire those around her, encouraging a deep and personal connection to creativity.

Our adventure commenced

Our story began ....

It all began when Sandra and Agatha—two kindred spirits united by a shared commitment to well-being and creative expression—crossed paths and discovered a common vision.

Sandra, a dedicated yoga teacher, and Agatha, an accomplished visual artist, were both moved by a desire to create meaningful experiences that nurture inner connection, presence, and authentic expression. Drawing from their personal journeys and professional insights, they imagined a space where body and mind could meet through movement and art—where exploration would be valued over perfection, and process would be honored as much as outcome.

Guided by intention and purpose, they began to shape what would become more than a project: a sanctuary for growth, reflection, and creativity. A place where individuals of all ages could reconnect—with themselves, with others, and with the world around them.

From this shared dream, YogArts Experience was born—a living, evolving space rooted in mindfulness, imagination, and the quiet power of presence.
